Water Damage from Water Softener Failure in Shaftsbury, Vermont

This customer in Shaftsbury, Vermont suffered a water loss from a water softener failure. Water flooded 1/3 of the house, damaging the MDF floor. Once MDF materials are heavily saturated they lose all structural integrity. Without a contractor available, we helped this customer out by replacing all the damaged sub-floor so they could stay in their home. All walls were flush cut and joist prepped of glue and staples. You can see Dave & Stacey putting in the time to prep the floor system for repair. Tough, dirty work, but we enjoyed the challenge!
